The devastation we’ve seen from the hurricanes is overwhelming. Mother Nature has hit to such an alarming degree that it’s hard to know where to start to help, especially if you are individual living hundreds of miles away. In addition to the most visible organizations such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross and Global Giving, here are some other organizations that need our support. Make your mark at any level you can afford. We are all needed!
Laura and Jorge Posada have created a fund which is bringing resources to residents, helping with medical care, and more. In an Instagram post, Laura shared this: “To all those who donated to our Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Fund thank you! With the money and supplies raised we have been able to reach the people directly. Yesterday, I had the honor to deliver food and water door to door. Also, we have been able to bring more than 100 patients to Florida. Our next move will be to purchase and deliver some much needed medication for hospitals.” The Posada’s are on the ground and putting your donations to work!
